Sometimes life feels clear and steady. Other times, it can feel a little more like standing at a crossroads with a map that forgot to include the “you are here” dot. Wherever you are in your journey, I’m glad you’re here. It is a joy and a privilege to be with you.

Hi, I’m Anna—a Registered Psychotherapist, former teacher, business leader, and athlete. I’ve also lived with type 1 diabetes since I was a child, and that experience has shaped both my life and my work. I understand what it’s like to carry something invisible. The questions, the fear, the frustration, and the strength that can develop alongside it.

At the core of my practice is a genuine interest in your story. I believe in resilience. Not the “figure it out on your own” kind, but the kind that grows in safe, supportive connection. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, so you can heal, grow, and connect with a life that feels meaningful and authentically yours. We move at your pace. We work as a team. My role is not to “fix,” but to support you in discovering and reconnecting with your own strengths, wisdom, and capacity for healing.

I offer individual therapy for children 10+, adolescents, and adults. I draw from a person-centered, strength-based approach and incorporate evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based practices to support you in navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, depression, self-esteem, sports performance, chronic illness, and relationships.

I look forward to sharing space with you whenever you’re ready..

Tell me about one experience that changed your life?

In 2014, I travelled to Beijing, China, where I taught at an international school for two years. I had just graduated and had this desire to really see and experience the world. During this time, my sense of identity and my understanding of the world expanded tenfold. I immersed myself in life in Beijing and travelled throughout Asia, with Nepal standing out as the most impactful destination. I felt like a sponge—soaking in new cultures, learning from my colleagues and students, and absorbing wisdom from the many incredible people I crossed paths with along the way.

What’s your favourite way to spend free time?

There are many ways I like to spend my time, some eventful and energizing, others slow and quiet. I love playing sports, especially basketball. The rhythm of dribbling outside on a quiet road or the final seconds of a close game. I love being creative, especially through writing, and the feeling of getting lost in a good book. Long conversations around the dining room table with my family, dinner with friends, solo walks (especially in the trees), or driving with a good podcast on are all nourishing for me.

Who do you work with?

I am drawn to the curiosity and joy that is inherent in working with children and teens, and I also covet the opportunities I get to spend time with adults. I find purpose in supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families in living fulfilling lives with type 1 diabetes. I also support athletes navigating performance anxiety and related pressures, as well as individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, relational challenges, and life transitions.

What would you like a client to say about working with you?

My wish is for clients to say that they feel acknowledged and seen for exactly who they are at any given moment. I hope the space I share with my clients is open, supportive, and candid.

What is your favourite poem?

i want to apologize to all the women
i have called pretty
before i’ve called them intelligent or brave
i am sorry i made it sound as though
something as simple as what you’re born with
is the most you have to be proud of
when your spirit has crushed mountains
from now on i will say things like
you are resilient or you are extraordinary
not because i don’t think you’re pretty
but because you are so much more than that
