Life’s journey is unique, and as the expert of your own experiences, I am here to walk alongside you as we navigate the complexities together. I believe in creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can make therapy whatever you need it to be—whether it’s a place for deep exploration, emotional release, or practical problem-solving. Your voice guides the process, and together we’ll work on strategies for growth and healing.

With years of experience supporting individuals through trauma, mental health challenges, and life stressors, I bring a deep understanding of how complex life transitions can affect your well-being. Having worked with survivors of violence, families, and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, I aim to offer a space where your unique story is honoured.

As an immigrant in Canada, I understand how layers of identity can shape our experiences, adding unique challenges and pressures. I bring this understanding into our work, recognizing the importance of honouring your personal story while working through life’s transitions.

With experience in trauma-informed practice, person-centered therapy, and DBT, I offer a holistic and tailored approach to support your emotional well-being.

What’s something you wish more people knew about mental health?

Mental health is just as important as physical health, and seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

What’s one place you’d love to travel to and why?

Turkey – to explore the historical sites and also try traditional Turkish cuisines along the way.

What’s your favourite way to spend free time?

Spending quality time with my family, friends and my cats. Trying new restaurants and dessert spots. Overall, making memories!

Who do you work with?

I work with adults of all ages seeking to uncover their inner strengths and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.

What would you like a client to say about working with you?

I’d like clients to say that working with me fostered their self-love and acceptance, empowering them to embrace their true selves and navigate life with renewed confidence. I’d like them to feel that our sessions were a supportive space where their growth and self-discovery were at the forefront.

What is your favourite poem?

“A Day Away.” by Brian E Pardee

Some feelings are shallow, some feelings are deep.

Some make us smile, some make us weep.

Some we love, some we don’t.

Some we’ll savor, some we won’t.

Some grounding, some uplifting,

Some long-lasting, some constantly shifting.

No matter what feelings I’m feeling today,

I know tomorrow is only a day away.
